1. Eastport Kitchen
Give Eastport Kitchen a try and you’ll know why they made the list twice! With excellent food, great prices, and super-convenient location, there’s so much to love about Eastport Kitchen. If you ask us, their sandwich selection can’t be beat (try the Blinky!)

2. Davis’ Pub
This neighborhood watering hole has kept the same name since it was a general store back in the 1920s (then Davis’ General Store and later Davis’ Lounge). Re-established as Davis’ Pub in 1986, it has been an Annapolis favorite for decades. Stop by and see why their motto is “Where there are no strangers, only friends you haven’t met.”
Favorite food: Crab cake; crab dip pretzel (trust us, it’s too hard to choose!)

3. Annapolis Market House
Located right across from City Dock, this bustling market house is a great place to meet and make friends. With a wide variety of foods, a large dining area, and specialty menus, it’s also the perfect spot to try a little bit of everything. Sit at the raw bar and watch the latest game, or grab a seat outside and watch the boats dock in the harbor.
Favorite food: Oysters on the half shell (special mention for their oyster po’boy sandwich!)
Favorite drink: Boat beer, german style Kolsch from Forward Brewing in Eastport

4. Boatyard Bar & Grill
We love this vibrant, nautical-themed eatery on Restaurant Row in Eastport. Once referred to as a “nautical Cheers” in Washingtonian Magazine, Boatyard’s friendly staff and warm atmosphere always makes you feel at home. They have a generous patio for outdoor seating and a menu that has been featured on numerous Best Of lists throughout the years.

5. The Big Cheese
Without a doubt, The Big Cheese is a one-of-a-kind Annapolis staple. This Mom & Pop owned and operated New York style deli has a variety of sandwiches both inventive and familiar. They also have a wonderful selection of cheeses and desserts, and is the perfect place to gather supplies for a lovely picnic by the water.
