BOOKING TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY
All FLOHOMs have a 1-night minimum stay and a 29-night maximum stay.
Check-in is 3PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out is 10am on the day of departure.
If you’re interested in an early check-in or late check-out, you can request both in our guest app. There is a $50 fee for each.
Early check-in is 1PM.
Late check-out is 12PM
While we do our best to accommodate an early check-in and late check-out requests for our guests, if we cannot accommodate your request, you will be notified and refunded immediately.
Yes! You can book directly on our website.
100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.
Please cancel or modify your reservation through the site you booked on. You will likely encounter stricter cancellation policies when you book on other sites. Always check a site’s cancellation policy before booking and contact them directly if you have questions.
Although we do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant and carefree as possible, we cannot control or be responsible for the weather or any other unforeseen circumstance that may affect your stay.
No refunds for natural disasters or other major events are out of our control. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover your stay in case of a natural disaster or other major events, and you need to cancel within 90 days or depart early. Depending on the type of trip insurance you purchase, you are usually eligible to be reimbursed by the insurance company for the amount we do not refund.

We do not sell trip insurance, but you can purchase it from our insurance partner when you book with us. Be sure to read the insurance you purchase carefully to know which cancellation reasons are covered and which are not. The Cancel For Any Reason policy is highly recommended.

Our check-out process is simple. We won’t leave you with a long to-do list, we promise. We ask that you leave the home generally clean to make it easier for our cleaning team. But you don’t have to worry about stripping the beds; used towels can be left on the floor.
RULES, SAFETY, & EXPERIENCE
FLOHOM is technically a houseboat. Read our blog to learn the difference between a houseboat and floating home.
FLOHOM’s gentle movement or sway in response to the currents and winds is part of the unique experience we offer. It allows you to truly go with the flow and immerse yourself in the tranquil rhythm of the water. Our floating homes are thoughtfully designed to ensure stability and minimize excessive movement. Many guests find the gentle sway adds to the charm and relaxation, but if you have a history of motion sickness, we recommend considering your comfort level beforehand.
At this time, pets are not allowed. We plan to allow our furry friends in the near future.
To ensure the comfort and health of all guests, we enforce a strict no-smoking policy inside and on all decks and within 20 feet of entrances. This applies to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and any other smoke or vapor-producing products. Violators will incur a cleaning fee of up to $500 to restore the space to a smoke-free condition.
Parties and events are prohibited unless you contact FLOHOM before your scheduled stay and get approval. Quiet time is from 10pm-7am and is strictly enforced.
FLOHOM is designed with the needs and preferences of adults in mind, and as such, it’s not the best fit for families with young children. Children 10 and older are allowed. Our goal is to create a peaceful and relaxing environment that adults best enjoy, and we believe that by setting an age limit, we can ensure that our guests have the best possible experience during their stay.
Swimming and jumping off the FLOHOM or docks are not allowed.
Yes, we can arrange for cleaning during your visit. You can purchase a mid-stay cleaning on FLOHOM’s online store through the guest portal you can access after booking.
Staying in a FLOHOM offers a unique and memorable experience, with beautiful 360-degree views and access to water-based activities like paddling and sailing. It’s also a great way to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of a body of water while still having access to the comforts of home.
